Characterization of the Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive marsh (2019)

The Comité ZIP Saguenay-Charlevoix has been working for several years with the municipality of Les Éboulements to conserve and enhance one of the most important intertidal marshes in the Charlevoix region, the Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive marsh. This site, unknown to scientists and little recognized in the region, offers its visitors a unique landscape on the river, in addition to holding an ecological role of great importance.

The purpose of the general characterization of the Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive marsh is to target the main issues of the site and thus to be able to identify measures such as mobilization and awareness-raising among users in order to ensure the conservation of the site.
