Inventory of Sensitive Coastal and Marine Habitats of the Lower North Shore, Phases I and II (2000-2001)

Inventory of sensitive coastal and marine habitats between the Baie-Johan-Beetz and Blanc-Sablon sectors, in the northeastern portion of the coastline of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Being carried out jointly by Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the Gulf Coast ZIP Committee, the project pursues a series of objectives common or specific to each of the titular organizations.

This project aims to enrich the level of knowledge about sensitive coastal and marine habitats on the Lower North Shore. In a way, it is an exploratory study that can be used to start various complementary research projects on the subject.
