Manual for Kayakers on Good Practices for the Observation of Marine Mammals (2018)

Sea kayaking is becoming an increasingly popular activity. Ecological in terms of transport, kayaking allows you to fully enjoy nature in an environmentally friendly way. However, when it comes to the marine mammals observation, its advantage can become disruptive to the environment depending on the approaching method.

Through this guide, which summarizes the information available in this field, the message is intended to be uniform throughout the north shore of the St. Lawrence Estuary in order to promote activity in harmony with its environment and to support the sustainable development of the sector.
