Awareness guide developed as part of the second phase of the project "Restoration and enhancement of the mouth of the Brochu River". The first phase of the project (2013-2014) involved enhancing the river mouth environment with nature observation posts and awareness boards, and with hosting meetings with local residents. The second phase (2014-2016) aimed at restoring this same natural environment by planting more than 60,000 Lyme grass plants over two years, in order to restore 10 000 m2 of degraded vegetation cover.
In addition to restoration work, we have drafted the following guide and conducted awareness workshops for elementary school students, Gallix residents and ORV users.
