List of Organizations With a Link to the St. Lawrence River and the Chaleur Bay, Gaspésie (2024)

This dataset aims to indicate the geographic location of a multitude of organizations and businesses that are members of Tourisme Gaspésie and are connected with the sea and the coastline of the Gaspésie tourist region. The organizations listed in the various resources were active in 2023 and at the beginning of 2024. These are mainly organizations offering sea excursion activities, but national parks and museums (not exhaustive) are also listed.

This information is made available to the public in the context of Marine Spatial Planning, a collaborative and transparent approach promoted by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) and aimed at improving the management of ocean spaces to balance the increased demand for human activities with the need to protect marine ecosystems.
